Apple’s Vision Pro VR headset has had varied reviews from users and critics alike. And big changes are coming, as the device soon-to-be-soon receive Apple Intelligence support, with no extra hardware required.
These include Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground, which offer all sorts of expected features. Whereas the Vision Pro will get these tools, they will also work on iPhones, iPads, and Macs. This expansion would make the Vision Pro more appealing to an audience that did not particularly want to join the displays that were floating before but were all about trying it now.
Apple is reportedly working on a new application concocted for the Vision Pro. That application is going to allow it to share spatial content, possibly including material from a slew of Apple and various other partner companies.
The app is said to house certain officially produced content validated and certified by Apple, which shows it is a bona fide source for recreation or learning. While Apple has shown no timetable for when these AI features will officially launch, speculations are expected that the Apple Intelligence could be out by April alongside the iOS 18.4 announcement.
According to reports, the launch of certain new Siri features will, therefore only arrive a month’s time delayed. This delay means that Apple is probably working through some tricks with development as it readies these updates.
The first beta of iOS 18.4 is expected next week, with public release set for next month. Reportedly, in an X post of Tim Cook that came out recently, Apple is also looking to announce the new iPhone SE4 next week. That timing makes obvious Apple’s overarching plan to enhance its product ecosystem while keeping consumer interest from waning across all their devices.
