Messenger software WhatsApp is popular worldwide. Meta is continually updating and adding features to the app. The software works with Android, iOS, and several feature phones running other OSes. Though the firm tries to support many devices for years, certain devices will eventually be unsupported.

OVER 35 DEVICES LOSE WHATSAPP SUPPORT IN 2024

CanalTech reported that WhatsApp stopped updating 35 phones with outdated Google and Apple operating systems. The list covers Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Sony, LG, and Apple devices. To safely use WhatsApp, check the list below to see whether you need update your mobile device. Some of the devices on the list are old, but some users still use the messaging app because they have good hardware or cannot be upgraded. WhatsApp now only advises using it on Android 5.0 or iOS 12 devices.
