Google today announced the details for its upcoming I/O developer conference to take place on May 20 to 22, 2023. The agenda includes keynote speeches from leading specialists, breakout sessions for more in-depth discussions of certain topics, and hands-on workshops for skill enhancement. Attendees will also have the opportunity to witness live demos of new technologies and innovations.

There will be ample networking opportunities, an important part of the conference, which gives participants a chance to meet with other developers, industry leaders, and Google technologies. Spanning a variety of topics, particular focus will be on Gems and Android.

Apart from these primary themes, the conference will highlight emerging advances in web-and-cloud technology. Google hopes to advertise its many AI efforts, such as Project Astra, designed to advance AI utility. Participants may receive additional reports about DeepMind’s work with Gemini 2.0-receiving a lot of attention along with insights about Project Mariner.

This year, I/O 2025 will coincide with Microsoft Build, another major tech conference happening within that timeframe, which is May 19 to 22. Microsoft Build is also supposed to have a strong AI theme, hence this is just that week for two major technologies announcements and evolutions.
