Mohamed Boulabiar, a traveler from France, embarked on an unusual journey to complete Umrah. The journey lasted for eight months and covered a distance of 8,000 kilometers across thirteen countries.

It was revealed by Boulabiar that he had spent two years preparing for this extraordinary expedition. After departing from Paris on August 27, 2023, he made his way via Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, and Jordan before landing in Saudi Arabia. His journey began in Paris.

A tent, a map, and a 25-kilogram backpack with vital supplies were the only things that Boulabiar brought along with him on his journey. During the majority of his nights, he remained in mosques or was warmly entertained by strangers who invited him into their residential spaces.

He regarded the weather as the most difficult aspect of his voyage since he went through summer, autumn, winter, and spring while he was traveling. At the Greek border, Boulabiar was confronted with a series of storms, thunderstorms, and even a snowfall, which caused his trip to be delayed by one week.
