After Google’s recent layoffs of over 1,000 workers, CEO Sundar Pichai allegedly advised surviving workers to expect further reduction later this year. The Verge said that Pichai wrote an internal message on Wednesday stating that some teams would continue to make resource allocation choices throughout the year and that some positions may be affected. Google told Engadget this email was sent.
