From the day of the elections, the price of Tesla shares rose approximately around forty percent. This is attributed to the fact that investors are hopeful that the incoming Trump administration, where Musk has strong ties, will ensure that the company is well-regulated, which is a plus for the establishment.

As Tesla’s main stock investor, he is expected to have about $83 billion more following the inflation of his wealth since the election. The amity resolved between the President-elect Donald Trump and Musk has thrown Musk and his many enterprises to the forefront. Apart from being the Chief Executive Officers of both Tesla and SpaceX, other companies within Musk’s umbrella include ownership of the platform previously known as Twitter, now X; Neuralink; xAI; and The Boring Company.

In a remarkable gesture, Musk is to be at the helm of the newly formed ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ named after a popular memecoin. This demonstrates Ashley Elon’s entire involvement in politics and business. His xAI, the second most important company within the group after Tesla in terms of valuation, also continues to expand rapidly and recently raised a funding round valuing the company at fifty billion dollars, up twofold from the previous round. Tuesday saw the wealth of Musk make a drastic change such that it puts him more than a hundred billion dollars above the wealth of Jeff Bezos, who is the founder of the e-commerce platform Amazon and had most of the wealth until very recently.
