Price of the iPhone 16: What can we expect to pay?

iPhone 16 price report: How much will it cost?

The iPhone 16 is approaching its release, and potential buyers are eager to know one key detail: “What will be the price of the iPhone 16?”

Fortunately, a forecast from TrendForce indicates that the entry-level model of the iPhone 16 is anticipated to retain the starting price of $799, similar to the iPhone 16 Plus, which is also expected to align with the pricing of the iPhone 15 Plus.

However, the situation appears to differ for the higher-end models.

iPhone 16 pricing: What can consumers expect?

As per TrendForce, the anticipated prices for the iPhone 16 models are as follows:

  • iPhone 16 (128GB) – $799
  • iPhone 16 (256GB) – $899
  • iPhone 16 (512GB) – $1,099

  • iPhone 16 Plus (128GB) – $899
  • iPhone 16 Plus (256GB) – $999
  • iPhone 16 Plus (512GB) – $1,199

  • iPhone 16 Pro (256GB) – $1,099
  • iPhone 16 Pro (512GB) – $1,299
  • iPhone 16 Pro (1TB) – $1,499

  • iPhone 16 Pro Max (256GB) – $1,199
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max (512GB) – $1,399
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max (1TB) – $1,599

As previously noted, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are likely to maintain the same starting prices as their predecessors. In contrast, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to see a price increase.

With the iPhone 16 Pro series, the 128GB model will no longer be available for $999, according to TrendForce. It is rumored that Apple will discontinue the 128GB option for the iPhone 16 Pro, making the 256GB model the new entry-level variant. This change mirrors a similar adjustment made with the iPhone 15 Pro Max last year.

Consequently, the least expensive iPhone 16 Pro available will be the 256GB version, priced at $1,099.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is projected to start at the same price as its predecessor, which is $1,199.
