According to recent sources, Samsung has added 600,000 pieces of the Galaxy Ring this year, a 150% increase in output.
Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Watch 7, and Watch Ultra, the Galaxy Ring did not receive nearly as much advertising. This might be the result of Samsung’s cautious Galaxy Ring introduction strategy.
As to a revelation posted on THE ELEC, a Korean website, Samsung initially restricted the manufacture of the Galaxy Ring to 400,000 copies. The corporation made a calculated decision by doing this, perhaps so they could gauge customer reaction before spending additional money and time.
As of this writing, the Galaxy Ring is officially available without a waiting period, having completed its pre-order phase. Samsung has increased production of the Galaxy Ring by 600,000 pieces after determining that it is worth investing in further. Up to one million units will be manufactured in total by the end of the year.
To put things in perspective, the amount of Galaxy Ring units produced is purportedly equivalent to the total number of Oura Ring units sold over the previous six years. Positive customer feedback makes sense considering that many customers are Galaxy users and it looks like a good idea to add a smart wearable under $500 to their environment.
The Galaxy Ring may be purchased for $399 from several merchants, including Samsung’s website.
