Samsung’s next Unpacked event will unveil new Galaxy devices, and the tech world is buzzing. Among the items, the Korean behemoth will unveil new and familiar earphones. New reports suggest the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro may provide lossless audio.

The new Samsung earphones are controversial. The pro-Galaxy Buds 3 may cause some controversy, but the base ones are OK. They resemble Apple’s AirPods surprisingly and annoyingly. Samsung was always against Apple, so this is disappointing. Too many notes are being taken from its book.

These earphones will be shown during Samsung’s next Unpacked presentation along with other intriguing items. The date is July 10.

Galaxy Buds 3 Pro may employ lossless audio.

Samsung’s premium Bluetooth earbuds feature some of the greatest sounds. They won’t beat audiophile earbuds like Campfire Audio Fathom.

However, hardware is not everything. Codec affects earbud sound quality. This technique compresses audio from your device to your earphones. Better codecs send more data. These codecs provide more detailed audio.

This rumor claims the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will feature a near-lossless audio codec. Maximum audio quality is 24-bit/96kHz, according to the research. Previous Galaxy Buds used 24-bit/48kHz codec. This new codec doubles the old one’s sampling rate. This is wonderful since you’ll hear the sounds more clearly.

Your earphones’ codec may be squeezing all the data from the audio stream, no matter how good the music is. Like seeing a 4K video on a 1080p screen.

The company’s codec is unknown. We don’t think Samsung uses Qualcomm’s aptX Lossless codec. This time, the corporation may use a proprietary codec. However, audio quality enhancement is welcome.
