Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra S Pen to lose its Bluetooth functionality
The Galaxy S25 series is getting ready for rollout by Samsung, and the most highlighted of its kind will feature the Galaxy S25 Ultra. One of the most noticeable changes is the S Pen, which has had impressive features for premium models. However, this version would lack Bluetooth. This poses a lot of questions over its usability.
The missing Bluetooth means losing Air Actions, where taking pictures, switching cameras, or opening applications could be done simply waving the S Pen at particular views. This was one of the most attractive features that came about with every Galaxy since its debut in 2021, and for those who like to give their commands from a distance, this is definitely a crowd favorite.
Samsung’s discovery reveals that many beholden customers hardly make use of Air Actions, and thus that might be the reason to kill the Air Actions. Besides, the changed structure of the Galaxy S25 Ultra with rounded corners and smaller stylus also might be a reason for this decision.
While it may have limited the appeal for users whowould rely on Air Actions, whether for professional or artistic applications, this raises questions about whether such a device will be accepted as “premium” among the family of Ultra devices. And that would call into question how it would affect the perception of potential buyers regarding the value and utility of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
