Apple has been working on Vision Pro since at least 2008

The Vision Pro by Apple has been in the house for more than 15 years; it took its babysteps as far back as 2008. They had already filed a patent that showed the company was nurturing the roots of this device long before it was even close to being a high-demand consumer electronics item.

During this long period of development, they have always had clear ideas about what they wanted to achieve, and so they also knew quite well what level of patience and commitment would be involved. Yet the major focus was always that the device would meet their high standards before being released to consumers, even though that might mean requiring it to be sold at a relatively higher initial price.

As the Vision Pro now approaches and makes its own initial debut in the market, an interesting question pops up: how much time will it take Apple to come out with its less expensive version of the Vision product line? A lot of consumers have a fair bit of interest with having an option that they could afford without compromising on too many fine points of quality or functionality.

Presently, Apple seems to be working on a second-gen Vision Pro, reportedly equipped with a powerful M5 chip. But, perhaps, that the future vision model may be kept on the backburner for quite a while. This shows that Apple is entirely fixated on making the Pro series adept before thinking of a more budget alternative. The future of the Vision product line certainly is an exciting topic for tech enthusiasts, as well as Apple aficionados, while they wait in suspense for the latest news.
