WhatsApp Will Leave These iPhones in May 2025.

It is expected that by May 2025, WhatsApp will no longer be accessible on these iPhones.

WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, has declared the discontinuation of services from May 2025 for older iPhone models. This affects users who are currently using devices like the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus.

From May 5, 2025, the app will stop working on iPhones with any iOS version less than 15.1. Many users are in this category because they cannot update their devices beyond the 12.5.7 iOS version.

Users who have these older models will have to either upgrade to a new iPhone or look for other messaging applications to continue using WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has given the users notice of five months, so they now have some time to prepare.

People using devices capable of running iOS 15.1 or more will not face any issues and will be able to enjoy the app quite normally without interruptions.

However, Android users are not affected by this. Despite this new announcement compatible only with iOS, as an iOS user, if I get a new version of WhatsApp, it usually means that WhatsApp plans on using all the newer technologies or features that can be availed through the latest version of the iPhone and transform the current WhatsApp into something better and more secure while improving performance as well.
