Email-based WhatsApp Account Login
The latest WhatsApp beta update for iOS (23.23.1.77) was made available to TestFlight beta participants, according to WABetaInfo. Similarly, the WhatsApp beta for Android (23.23.24.10) allows you to link and log in using an email account to your WhatsApp account. The most popular feature seen in many apps is now finally available on the WhatsApp Android and iOS apps, after being absent from many others.

According to the screenshot WABetaInfo posted, adding an email address is a quick and easy process using the Email address page. The user must open the email delivered by WhatsApp on their smartphone to validate the email address they added. The same email can be used to recover your WhatsApp account and log in again after verification. The old phone number login option is still accessible in the WhatsApp app on iOS and Android; this functionality is an add-on. Even now, using your phone number to access your WhatsApp account is crucial.

Users will greatly benefit from the addition of this function, since they can utilize it to get verification tokens via email when they need them. You can choose not to use this feature, though, as it won’t have any impact on WhatsApp’s functionality.

This functionality was recently made accessible to a select group of WhatsApp beta testers; following successful testing, a stable build of the feature will be made available to all users.
