You can now leave comments on your friends’ stories on Instagram for everyone to see. Here’s how.

Instagram, owned by Meta, has gained significant popularity among various age demographics. This success can be attributed to its commitment to continually improving the user experience.

Meta has introduced several features designed to enhance the app, with mixed reactions from users. Despite this, the platform remains dedicated to innovation and has recently launched a noteworthy feature aimed at enriching user interaction.

The new comment feature for Stories allows users to leave comments that are publicly visible to all viewers for 24 hours, although it is still uncertain whether these comments can be archived. Alongside this update, Instagram has unveiled new fonts and text animations, as well as the Instagram Creator Lab in India, which supports both English and Hindi languages. Previously, users could only respond to stories in a private manner, but this new feature makes comments accessible to everyone.

Furthermore, Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, has indicated a strategic shift towards prioritizing short-form content over longer videos, highlighting that such content tends to create stronger connections among users.

How To Add Comments On Instagram Story Of Your Friends

• Open the Instagram app on your mobile phone and then open the story of the friend whose story you want to comment on. 
• At the base of your screen, you will see a comment button. Click on it to open the comment box.
• Type the comment that you want to leave on your friend’s story.
• Once you’ve typed the comment, click on ‘Send’.
• The person whose story you commented on will get this comment. If they choose to respond to your comment then you will be informed.
