Zuckerberg says Meta will replace mid-level engineers with AIs this year.

The prophetic view of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta, is regarding the future of artificial intelligence in software development. According to him, AI will be able to perform coding at a level very similar to mid-level engineers by the year 2025. This ideally points towards a change in the functionality of AI in engineering teams as opposed to merely being a tool which developers use; it might have become an important team member.
